Porcelain questions
What's the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile?
Porcelain is denser and absorbs less water than ceramic, so it handles floors, showers and entryways well. Ceramic is a great fit for walls and backsplashes.
How do I know how much tile to order?
Open any collection and use the square-foot calculator. We add 10% extra for a straight lay or 15% for offset or diagonal patterns, and we confirm the box count on your quote.
Can I see it in person first?
Showroom visits are by appointment only, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM. Please call 708-770-3971 or email info@floordstudio.com to book a time. You can also order samples and we'll ship them free to your door or set them aside for free pickup.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Retail curbside delivery is $300, or you can pick up your order at the Daltile Burr Ridge warehouse or the Daltile Elk Grove Village location.
Do you show prices online?
Every order is quoted for your project. Send your square footage from any collection page and we'll reply with a written quote.
